This is a memorial for Neil Esyln Thomson, It was a long long time ago, but still I wanted to create a happy place for people to celebrate his life, gone too soon, but not forgotten !! I was just seven when he died, and the turn of events that happened after meant there was not much time for grief, and it was only in my thirties when I really started to feel the loss again.. funny old world! If anyone knew him, I would love to hear happy tributes, I only knew him as a child, a fantastic dad, always playful and loving, always .. A Teacher with a love of cricket, and he was fantastic xxx

We met when we were both students at the Teacher Training College in Clacton. It was such a shock to read of his early death. He was so looking forward to returning home and to spending time with his baby daughter. All of us expected him to have a glittering career. So sad.
